Korina Biggs: Finding Creativity in Motion From Where You Are

This workshop is a taster of the workshops that I developed and delivered online during the pandemic for RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art). They aimed to encourage participants to become more in touch with their embodied experience in relation to the environment that they were in and the others on the screen. The courses drew on principles of the Alexander Technique and Somatic Movement Education that encouraged non-doing, freedom, curiosity and creative choice.

For this session we will be connecting with self, with our immediate environments and with others through movement expression however big or small. There is no need to have particular previous experience, just curiosity and the willingness to move.

Please wear clothes you are comfortable moving in and make sure your environment is free from hazards that may impede your movement.
