Julia Caulder: Using Inhibition and Working with the Dart Procedures

In this workshop, Julia will work with the Dart procedures. We will learn how many of the movements we use in Dart come from deep within us - they are things we already know. Julia likes to keep things simple and easy. This is an experiential workshop where each person will be participating and moving through the Dart procedures with Julia. She will work with everyone going into the primary and secondary curves from the floor to the chair. She will also work with spirals and show how this can really add to the three dimensionality of our work. Julia’s student will be there and she will demonstrate these things with her student after we have all experienced them. You will need some open carpeted floor space and two chairs. This workshop is suited for teachers, trainees and students. As Raymond Dart said “Man can only look ahead as far as he can look back.” Please join Julia for an experiential fun workshop.

Please note, there are some unstable sections in this video due to internet issues during the original workshop. A separately recorded, clear, and uninterrupted 10-minute demonstration is included in the video beginning at 43 minutes.
