Clare Maxwell: Cranial Nerve Sequencing Part 1: Freeing Your Neck Has Never Been So Easy
Explore sensory and motor functions of each nerve and each sense organ in your skull and throat to activate a free and delicate articulation of head and spine, resetting overall coordination throughout your whole body. CNS sequencing supports easier access to the free neck and balanced head that the Alexander Technique is famous for and can help you discover hidden areas of over- or under-activation.
Because our nervous systems are so diverse, going through this sequence with an open mind can help you discover things about your coordination and that of your students that may surprise you. We take the journey not to acquire more cognitive knowledge (though that is a side effect) but to listen to our unique bodies and hear what they are telling us on any given day.
