Emily Rodriguez

Emily Rodriguez is an actress and currently a third-year trainee at the Riverside Initiative for the Alexander Technique in NYC. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2019. Emily is a co-founder of The Collective, a BIPOC-run organization dedicated to creating resources, accessibility, and community support for BIPOC practitioners and students. Emily is committed to engaging communities that the Technique has historically overlooked, and this commitment is what drives her to become a teacher of the technique. She values connecting deeply with others, and this inspires her practice every day. She is honored to be a Judith Leibowitz Scholarship Fund recipient.
